The Workshop Rules & Guidelines
Hey folks! Welcome to The Workshop. This board is meant as a showcase for content creators to post their MetaZoo-related creative works. It could be videos you've created for MetaZoo news or deckbuilds, it could be art you've made of MetaZoo beasties, it could be 3D models you've printed, or a story you wrote - anything goes! This notice does cover a few rules and reminders for what you can post in the Workshop, however, so give it a read first!
All works should be MetaZoo-related or adjacent. Currently, we are asking people to keep it MetaZoo related, or on a similar topic. You can post general cryptid related things, or card related projects (such as showcasing a deckbox you've built), but we ask that it stays mostly MetaZoo related for now. This rule may be subject to change depending upon member feedback.
All projects must be your own. You are not allowed to post other people's work you did not help create, even with their permission or credit. You are allowed to post collaborations you have done, or projects you have participated in, as long as the other individuals are linked. An example would be; you can post an interview you were a part of, or a podcast episode you were on, but you cannot post a picture of a sketch you had someone do for you, or post a playlist of your favourite videos you've found.
NSFW or 18+ projects must be linked to only. The rule of thumb is 'nothing worse than a MetaZoo card'. All sexually explicit, intensely gory, or child/work-inappropriate content needs to be hosted on a third party site, and linked to here, with a message or notice specifically stating the content is meant for mature audiences only.
Content or trigger warnings should be posted if applicable. As is the case across the forum, if your content contains sensitive material, please include a warning either in the title or at the top of your post as a courtesy for others.
You can post unfinished works in progress. You are absolutely welcome to show in progress shots or samples of what you are currently working on, either to showcase or to ask for suggestions. Works do not need to be completed to be posted to the Workshop.
You are currently allowed to post new topics for each new work. We leave it up to you to decide if you want to post a new topic for each new thing you create, post a topic for each new project with each new parts posted there, or simply have one topic for all your works. Please note that this rule is subject to change as the forum grows; we may eventually require everyone to maintain a limited number of topics in order to not flood the board. Old topics will not be deleted if this is the case.
We would also like to note that prefixes may be introduced once we move to a software that supports them. Likewise, you currently need to host all images on an external site, as we don't support uploading just yet. This will be subject to change once we switch the forum over to a different software. Please do let us know if there are any suggestions or feedback you have on changes to the Workshop's format, as it is a newer section to the forum and we can always change things!
