How many tries did it take to pass your MZO exam?

I recently passed my MetaZoologist exam and I was wondering how many tries it took most MZOs to pass the apprentice exam and become a MetaZoologist - it seems like interesting info to have! How many tries did it take for you? Did you find it hard to pass?

For myself, I failed my first at 13/20 and passed my second one with a perfect 20/20, which I was not expecting at all. I found a big thing was to read the titles of the questions - I didn't as much the last time, and completely forgot some status effects and whatnot that lost me points. I was also on the lookout for trick questions a lot more - that got me the first time as well.

Got it on the first try! 18/20 .

I hear the exam has gotten easier with less trick questions over time though, but I'm still pretty happy.
Anyone reading this, don't give up on the exam if you didn't pass!

I have heard the same; apparently the old ones were really hard. I remember back in CN1, I think a MZO I knew at the time had to build a whole deck or something on webcam?? And like play a game or something?? Someone else I was talking to recently said they didn't even get scores when they did it - it was just a pass or fail, and much harder.
